Clean Room Intercom
Many times when there is a clean room or controlled environment there is a need to communicate from the clean room to the outside of the entry door. Some times these areas have double door to create an air lock where the person entering can put on special clothing or wash before entering. If they need to talk and communicate with the highest quality and reliability the Tech Works IC-52 can help.
By placing a 2021 Vandal Resistant Intercom Station outside the room and inside the air lock, the person that wants to come in can press the button to let people inside the clean room know. When the button is pressed a call tone will sound over the ceiling speakers in the clean room to call personnel's attention to the visitor. By either pressing a button on the PRO-47T-PLUS Microphone or stepping on an FS-1 Foot Switch the intercom becomes active and they can carry on a conversation as if they were in the same room.
Clean Rooms can also be an acoustic challenge with high noise levels from process equipment or hard reverberant surfaces. The IC-52 amplifier is uniquely qualified to help in these areas. Due to our special Automatic Gain Control, built in Voice Band Roll Off Filters and Frequency Agile Notch Filters, the technician can tune the amplifier to the needs of the room.
