Tech Works IC-52-ENH is a complete system solution that is easy to install, easy to adjust, and very flexible to allow the operation to be tailored to the exact communication requirements. Full duplex operation means that all words from all parties are always heard so that no message or critical communication is lost. Features such as Privacy tones to warn people that they are being listened to and call tones to let technicians know they are needed are included and can be configured as active or inactive.
The ENH or "Enhanced" version of the IC-52 includes an Option board for Music control or Recording Outputs. The music control option is included to play owner provided music in the procedure room to sooth the patient or entertain the staff. This music can interfere at times with the critical speech communication unless it is controlled. The IC-52-ENH provides full control of music program by turning it down during critical intercom communication and slowly restoring it to listening level when communication is complete. The ENH option also provides Recording Outputs, for connection to a tape machine, that can be jumper configured to route what was heard or what was said.

Procedure Rooms - Many Procedure Rooms have observation windows that allow Technicians, Students, or support staff to view the procedure while performing other functions. Clear quality audio is a critical part of communicating through the clean-room barrier.
Prison Intercom - Prisons are very harsh environments both physically and acoustically. The IC-52 comes from a long history of quality communication in challenging acoustics like it's predecessor the IC-29. The IC-52 inputs are PLC compatible for remote control and the audio amplifier outputs are protected against over load and abuse. IC-52 comes with a variety of mounting options including rack mount or dual rack mount for side by side mounting of 2 units in a single rack space.
Interview, Interrogation, and Recording - In an Interview. Interrogation, or Observation room the critical element of audio is quality. Whether it is during the live process or the recorded review it is essential that every word is captured and understood. The IC-52-ENH provides quality and features such as recording outputs, for connection to a tape machine, that can be jumper configured to route what was heard or what was said.
