When large properties require remote intercom to many areas such as stairwells and parking garages with a central security station, Tech Works answers the call. Standard intercom components were used to deliver clear communications to each area. When a person in a remote area presses the intercom button, the call is answered at the main security station on the property. The security guard has a telephone and a video monitor so that he can evaluate every person and their individual situation. Once he has verified who the person is and what their needs are he can render the appropriate support. A separate intercom call station is provided at each stairwell door, each elevator lobby, and in strategic locations such as long hallways, plaza areas, doors or parking entrances and exits. • Distributed processing allows for easy installation and configuration of each calling station. |
